Some days it's just great to be alive...

Mormonism is the fastest growing religion in the world, apparently God is impressed and rewarded all with a foot of fresh powder. Those in the know, or just extremely lucky, or maybe especially good this year, got 3 feet on Wilbere and the chance to lay fresh tracks. Oh my god, I creamed my panties, it was that good and walked around with rosey cheeks and a grin that stretched from ear to ear all morning. Its unbelievable!! Blue bird sky, no wind, my only regret is that I didn't bring my camera.

I finished my hip hop mix, and if I were to make a ski video, which right now I'm more likely to do than give birth. Adrenline!! by the Roots would be my background noise.

A bad ass princess?

Ed and I hiked up to Porter's Fork and practiced multi-burial searches. I wasn't too bad, thats pretty bad ass. It was an overcast day, yet it was super pretty up there. My favorite part is the way the branches on trees look when they are covered in snow. Um.. here's the princess part, he had to help me with my snowshoes. I did fine on the way up, just down we were running (it feels like you're a penguin) and they kept falling off and I was tired and I didn't want my hands to get cold because I was wet from falling on my face and sweating on the way up. More than asking for help I just made the whiny noise, and I'm sure he didn't want to listen to it.

But Ed's good, after we got to the bottom, by the way I'm saving money for a cabin in Millcreek. My Jeep got stuck in the snow, the dogs were breathing hard and fogging up the windows and there was a nice truck parked next to me. Ed had faith in me though, and I totally got it unstuck, so I sort of felt cool again. Jeep has been the best 5K that I've spent.

Pow Wow

I'm having a Pow Wow tonight (refer to Game Night was Educational post), just me and Daisy living the high life in a clean and quiet condo. Mom left today. On the way home from work I stopped by the liquor store and bought a bottle of peppermint schnapps, its the equivalent of my holiday cheer, I've whipped up the perfect peppermint latte for my pow wow. So for all who come please be advised you get the choice of a peppermint schnapps or fake Baileys in your morning coffee. Above is the spare bedroom, imagine yourself enjoying your coffee in bed with your skis resting against the brick wall.
