Green Bay Packers!!!

The highlight of my weekend was the Packers playoff game against the Seahawks, its was awesome, not as good as the snow xmas day, but awesome all the same. I heart the Packers, cuz of Brett Favre. Lets just talk about Brett Favre, he not only has the most touchdowns ever scored by an NFL quarterback, most yards, most wins, most consecutive starts, most interceptions (I know that they are not a good thing, but being not perfect makes him even better.) and he's cute and funny and taller than me with good teeth. Plus he's always smackin folks in the butt, I really like that in man. Not only was the win awesome, but the Packers are the only team that can manage to mess it up so bad in the first 2 plays and still comeback to a 42-20 victory and throw snowballs at one another and be tuff while doing various celebration adaptions of the cabbage patch. All that in 4 quaters, so I say if there is a team that stands a chance against the snooty "I only date foreign (as if Jessica Simpson isn't good enough for him) super models" Tom Brady, its the Pack led by the football god, Brett Favre. Not only that, but who is more thug, Al Harris or Randy Moss?

*note some NFL stats about Brett Favre are made up, cuz after all who cares if he's got his hands all over my rear.

Onward and upward!!

When we were kids we kept a little basket full of Chinese fortune cookie sized goals for the year ahead. It was dad's idea, and I think its great. Since then I've read similar techinques in business and organization books. Below are my goals for 2008...

1. Finish the kitchen.

2. A book a month.

3. Travel to a place I've never been. Perhaps India.

4. Find a challenging job, or at least one the I can learn from or the equivalent at a new position in my current job.

5. Ski at least 20 days this season.

I sort of secretly wouldn't mind running a marathon, though I hate to run. I think if I could just work on a mix of tunes that could keep me going and a pair of headphones that don't fall out of my ears.

Also really want to send out Christmas cards next year, I might go shopping for some later. I guess that would be the first step.. nah, not shopping but going out and snapping appropriate photos for some.

You know, all in all I'm proud of myself in 07, even though I did some real stupid things, I like the person that I'm growing up to be.
